Self-Care Wellness Retreat with Joan Hyman

5-days and 4-nights of Healing Yoga focusing on Mental and Physical Well-being in one of the most beautiful rainforests in the world.

How do we strike the balance in our busy world and take time to replenish?

On this Wellness Retreat, you will find time for yourself to slow down and gain tools to nourish yourself.

Join Joan Hyman in a four-night immersive personal retreat experience and learn tools to help you cultivate a healthy routine and embody the practices of yoga and ayurveda.

The daily morning classes will explore pranayama techniques which help you anchor the mind into the body and regulate your nervous system. A balanced nervous system is the key to health and well-being. When we are calm, we elicit the healing state known as rest and digest, helping us to feel balanced and relaxed physically and mentally. This is where true healing can occur.

You will also learn how to cater your yoga practice to your own unique needs. Joan has been teaching trainings and retreats for well over twenty years and loves to work one on one with people to help them understand the practice as it relates to their unique imprint. You will also have an opportunity to have a coaching session with Joan, which will include a discussion on lifestyle routines and how to embody these ancient practices of yoga and ayurveda.

Join us for a transformative retreat at Maruia River Retreat with internationally renowned yoga teacher, Joan Hyman.
